Bailey (born 24 November 1930 in Bloomington, Illinois) is an author, professor in theology and a linguist. ==Life== Bailey spent 40 years (1955-1995) with teaching in the middle east in Egypt, the Libanon, Israel and Cyprus.〔http://shenango.org/bailey/dr-baileys-biography/〕 He has a degree in Arabic and literature, systematic theology and did his dissertation in the field of New Testament.〔 https://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/author.pl/author_id=1185〕 He was ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA).
